Comprehensive manual approach

Restoring the mobility of living organisms

Osteopathy is a gentle manual therapy that takes a holistic view of the body. Through precise and gentle touch, the osteopath identifies areas of restricted mobility—whether in the joints, muscles, internal organs, or skull—to restore the body’s ability to self-regulate and relieve the tension that causes pain.

Your questions, our answers

  • Adults and adolescents suffering from joint, muscle, or postural pain
  • Pregnant women (from thesecond trimester onward) and newborns (special pediatric sessions)
  • Athletes seeking injury prevention or recovery after intense exercise or an injury
  • People undergoing post-operative follow-up, recovering from an accident, or suffering from chronic tension
  • Anyone seeking to restore their body's overall balance

Treatment — 1 to 3 sessions spaced 1 to 3 weeks apart are usually sufficient to treat a specific area.

Maintenance — One session every 3 to 6 months to maintain the body’s balance and prevent tension from building up.

Emergency Care — For acute muscle spasms or severe pain, we offer priority appointment slots.

Each session begins with an in-depth discussion of the reason for your visit, your medical history, and your lifestyle. This is followed by an osteopathic assessment, which includes mobility tests, palpation, and postural observation.

The treatment itself lasts 30 to 40 minutes: gentle techniques tailored to your body, performed while you are lying down or sitting. The session concludes with personalized advice —on posture, exercises, and hydration—to help you enjoy the benefits for longer.

  • Recent unhealed fractures

If you have any concerns, our osteopaths will refer you to your primary care physician.

The two disciplines complement each other. Physical therapy treats a specific area based on a doctor’s prescription, often as part of post-injury rehabilitation, over several sessions scheduled in quick succession.Osteopathy takes a holistic view of the body, identifies the mechanical causes of pain, and promotes self-regulation, often requiring fewer sessions. Depending on your situation, our therapists will guide you toward the most appropriate treatment plan.
